Theme music for Mama as she does advanced math. This is the first of several singles Olin Place records will be releasing this year, and the first track in James Whetzel's "Mama..." series of tracks. This is atmospheric instrumental hip hop in a unique 4.5/4 rhythm. It sounds like 4/4 but with a really weird swing!

James Whetzel is a producer of acoustic and electronic music. He has made music in a wide variety of genres including downtempo, instrumental hip hop, soundtrack music, ambient music, indie pop, Hindustani classical fusion, and Christmas and Holiday music featuring the sound of the South Asian fretless lute the sarod. His release “Holiday: Sarod and Beats” was picked as one of the top ten holiday releases of 2013 by the LA Times. His soundtrack for the film “Man With a Movie Camera” has praised by fans of the film. A palm wine guitarist, sarodist, and tabla and darbouka player, his music often has influences of West African, North African, and South Asian music. He also releases music as Whetzel and is part of the groups: Who Is John Smith, Das Dhoom, DJ Baba James, Korky Bucek and James Whetzel, Mean Deep, and Yas / Whetzel.
